CHI St. Luke’s Health – Memorial Livingston Hospital is a 60-bed hospital that was built in 2000. Recent construction has expanded the emergency room to 23,500 square feet. The new facility includes 26 treatment stations, including three trauma rooms, 16 exam rooms, and adjacent radiology, ultrasound, and CT rooms. There are also designated areas for disaster response and decontamination. Memorial Hospital Livingston offers Women’s Health, Outpatient Surgery, ICU, and CCU Cardiopulmonary. Other services offered include Orthopedic Care, Women’s Services, and a state-of-the-art Sleep Center. Imaging services include MRI, CT scan, nuclear medicine scans, 4D Ultrasound, cardiac echocardiograms, fluoroscopy, bone density scanning, and 3D mammography.
CHI St. Luke’s Health – Memorial San Augustine Hospital is an 18-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital. The emergency room is dedicated to providing comprehensive emergency services for all types of acute injuries or illnesses and is designated as the area’s only certified critical care access hospital. CHI St. Luke’s Health – Memorial San Augustine’s emergency room offers an experienced and talented staff of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants who have some of the most modern medical technology at their fingertips, including MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), CT (Computed Tomography), X-Ray, Ultrasound, Digital Mammography, and Bone Density Testing. The facility is also equipped with an Electronic PACs System that allows clinicians to view diagnostic test results of a patient securely from anywhere around the world. Working in close connection with CHI St. Luke’s Health – Memorial Lufkin, telemedicine allows Lufkin radiologists to interpret tests that have been sent electronically from the San Augustine facility 24/7 Additionally, PHI Air Medical Service partners with CHI St. Luke’s Health – Memorial San Augustine to transfer patients in need of a higher level of emergency services.
