Comprised of 15 physicians and 20 Advanced Practitioners, our goal at Urgent Surgery Associates is to provide excellent patient care centered on serious and acute general surgery.
While our historical focus has been on trauma care at Baylor University Medical Center, our expertise in managing the acute and unexpected critically ill patient has allowed our practice to evolve to that of “surgical hospitalist” and acute care surgeon. While primarily hospital-based, we remain available for providing care and consultation for a variety of non-urgent general surgery.
Required Qualifications
- Board-Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery – Surgical Critical Care
- Completion of trauma / Critical Care Fellowship – preferred
- 2 years of prior experience preferred, but new grads are also encouraged to apply
