IES is seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead the team at Baylor Scott & White Emergency Hospital in Aubrey, Texas. BS Aubrey is a fully licensed, 24/7 emergency facility located near the Savannah neighborhood at 26791 US Highway 380 E., Aubrey, TX. It provides localized emergency and inpatient care without the typical wait times of other acute care hospitals.
Position Highlights:
- Employment Type: Full-time | W-2
- Aubrey annual volume: 9,844
- Schedule Options:
- 12-hour shifts
- Full-time, benefit eligible @ 120 hours/month (W2 only)
- Facility Setup: 16 beds (8 ED + 8 inpatient)
- Coverage: Primarily Solo coverage
- Support Staff: Nurses, ED techs (paramedics), rad techs, and telemedicine hospitalists
Medical Director Role:
- Provide on-site management of the clinical and administrative aspects for the emergency department.
- Manage the quality improvement plan including attending regular meetings and review of medical records
- Supervise staff, provide feedback, and assure provision of high-quality care
- Review the provider schedule and ensure adequate staffing
- Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of qualified physicians
- Serve as liaison between hospital administration and clinical staff and provide regular feedback to IES leadership
Required Qualifications
- Candidate must be board certified in emergency medicine (ABEM/ABOEM) and completion of an accredited residency in emergency medicine.
- Prior leadership experience with preferred role as an associate or assistant medical director or completion of an Administrative Fellowship.
