IES is seeking an experienced Medical Director. This position would oversee emergency department operations at our Baylor Scott & White Emergency Hospitals in Aubrey and Rockwall.
Position Highlights:
- Employment Type: Full-time | W-2
- Aubrey annual volume: 9,844
- Rockwall annual volume: 12,272
- Schedule Options:
- 12-hour shifts
- Full-time, benefit eligible @ 120 hours/month (W2 only)
- Facility Setup: 16 beds (8 ED + 8 inpatient)
- Coverage: Primarily Solo coverage
- Support Staff: Nurses, ED techs (paramedics), rad techs, and telemedicine hospitalists
Medical Director Role:
- Provide on-site management of the clinical and administrative aspects for the emergency department.
- Manage the quality improvement plan including attending regular meetings and review of medical records
- Supervise staff, provide feedback, and assure provision of high-quality care
- Review the provider schedule and ensure adequate staffing
- Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of qualified physicians
- Serve as liaison between hospital administration and clinical staff and provide regular feedback to IES leadership
