Integrative Emergency Services in seeking an experienced Medical Director to join our team at Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee.
Emergency Department:
- 36,000 annual ED volume
- 34 hours of physician coverage, 20 hours of APP coverage
- 21 ED beds
- 18% admission rate
- Level III Trauma Center
- Certified Stroke Center
- EPIC EMR
Medical Director Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site management of the clinical and administrative aspects for the emergency department.
- Manage the quality improvement plan including attending regular meetings and review of medical records
- Supervise staff, provide feedback, and assure provision of high-quality care
- Review the provider schedule and ensure adequate staffing
- Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of qualified physicians and advanced practice providers
- Serve as liaison between hospital administration and clinical staff and provide regular feedback to IES leadership
Required Qualifications
BC/BE in Emergency Medicine
Active Oklahoma medical license, DEA & BNDD
Previous experience as a medical director or assistant medical director
