Position: Full Time
IES seeks an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician interested in leadership as the Associate Medical Director for OakBend Medical Center. This position features unique aspects of collaboration, support, and mentorship from the established Medical Director and the IES VP of Clinical Work Force Development. Position includes a monthly stipend and 30-hours/month for Administrative work.
3 Emergency Departments:
OBMC Jackson St. ED- Richmond, TX (1 of 3)
· 16,500 Patients per year
· 45 patients per day (2 Pts./hour)
· 16-bed ED
· APP Coverage 56 hours/week Noon to 8PM
· 24-hour physician coverage; 12-hr. shifts 7-7
OBMC Williams Way ED-Richmond, TX
· 11,300 Patients per year
· 31 Patients per day (1.8 Pts./hour)
· 8-bed ED
· 24-hour physician coverage; 12-hr. shifts 7-7
OBMC ED -Wharton, TX (3 of 3):
· 9,500 Patients per year
· 26 Patients/ day (1.1 /hr)
· 6-bed ED
· Physician shifts 24 hours

· Full labs on site; Xray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, US, POCUS
· 15% admission rate

Required Qualifications
- BC/BE Emergency Medicine trained physician
- BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with recent one year of post-grad hospital ER experience
- Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Directorship experience preferred but not required
- DEA, ACLS, ATLS, PALS
