This is an outstanding opportunity to practice with two distinctly unique health systems, St. Luke’s in Sugar Land and OakBend in Richmond. The unique aspect of this position is that it affords the selected candidate the flexibility of scheduling between 2 ERs, just 21 minutes apart. Both are Lev. IV, yet the services and operations are different, thus promising to enrich the scope of practice and experience.
St. Luke’s Health – Sugar Land Hospital offers the latest technology and treatments for residents of Fort Bend County and Southwest Houston. OakBend Medical Center serves the SW portion Fort Bend County and surrounding regions.
Emergency Departments
St. Luke’s Health – Sugarland Hospital ED
- APP Coverage and shifts: 9-hour shift – 1pm - 9pm
- Physician Coverage: 24 hours – single physician coverage
- Trauma Center: Level IV
- Annual Visits: 20,281

OakBend Medical Center - Jackson Street ED
- APP Coverage and shifts: 40 hours/week (M-F, noon-8pm)

St. Luke's Health–Sugar Land Hospital offers the latest technology and treatments for residents of Fort Bend County and Southwest Houston. Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner (ENP-C preferred)
- One or more years of post-grad hospital ER experience
- Texas PA or NP license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA
- ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIH
