Hiring an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the team in the Emergency Department at St. Luke's Sugar Land in southwest Houston.



This is a full-time W2 position with a comprehensive benefits package available on your first clinical shift.

Emergency Department

  • APP Shift: Noon - 9pm
  • Trauma Center: Level IV
  • Annual Visits: 17,000
  • ED Beds: 16
  • Patients Per Hour: 2.0
  • Admit Rate: 24% - Hospitalists handle admissions
  • Physician Coverage:  24 hours – single doc coverage
  • APP Coverage: 9 hours
  • POCUS: Sonosite
  • EMR: Epic
  • Dictation: Dragon
  • Scribes: No

St. Luke's Health–Sugar Land Hospital offers the latest technology and treatments for residents of Fort Bend County and Southwest Houston. Services range from heart care and neuroscience to robotic surgery. The recently opened Family Birthing Center offers incomparable care and amenities in a spa-like environment to provide a VIP—Very Important Pregnancy—experience. Since 2008, the experienced doctors, nurses, and support staff have provided expert care to support the community.

  • Board Certified Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner (ENP-C preferred)
  • One or more years of post-grad hospital ER experience
  • Texas PA or NP license (or ability to obtain)
