Hiring full-time or part-time physicians for hospital Emergency Medicine at OakBend Medical Center in Richmond, Texas.
OakBend Medical Center is an independent health system southwest of Houston. OakBend has two hospital EDs in Richmond and one ER in Wharton, TX. Cross-credentialing required.
Emergency Department:
Jackson Street ER Campus: (1 of 3 ERs)
· 16,500 Patients per year
· 45 patients per day; 15% admissions
· Patients/Hr. 2.0
· 16-bed ED
· APP Coverage 56 hours/week. Noon to 8PM
· 24-hr. physician coverage; shifts 7 to 7
· Cross Credentialing at 3 area EDs required

Oak Bend Medical Center – A regional independent non-profit health system serving Fort Bend County and the surrounding area. Comprised of three Campuses: (Jackson Street and Williams Way in Richmond, TX & Wharton Hospital in Wharton, TX)
· 120-Bed Hospital
· Full labs on site
· Xray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, US, POCUS
· EMR Paragon (formerly AllScripts) -Dragon dictation
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE Emergency Medicine trained physician
- BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with one year recent and post-grad hospital ER experience
- Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA, ACLS, ATLS, PALS
- NIH (stroke Certification)
