Hiring full-time or part-time physicians to work in the Emergency Department at OakBend Medical Center on Jackson Street in Richmond, Texas.
OakBend Medical Center is an independent health system just southwest of Houston. OakBend has two locations in Richmond and one in Wharton. These hospitals provide care for all ages and proudly offer no-wait ER services.
Emergency Department:
Jackson Street Campus: (1 of 3 ED’s)
· 16,500 Patients per year
· 45 patients per day
· Patients/Hr. 2.0
· 16-bed ED
· APP Coverage 56 hours/week. Noon to 8PM
· 24-hour physician coverage; shifts 7A-7P;7P-7A
· Cross Credentialing at 3 area EDs required

Oak Bend Medical Center – A regional independent non-profit health system serving Fort Bend County and the surrounding area. Comprised of three Campuses: (Jackson Street and Williams Way in Richmond, TX & Wharton Hospital in Wharton, TX)
· 120-Bed Hospital
· Full labs on site
· Xray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, US, POCUS
· EMR Paragon (formerly AllScripts)
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE Emergency Medicine trained physician
- BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with one year of post-grad hospital ER experience
- Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA
- ACLS, ATLS, PALS
