Our Emergency Medicine Clinicians benefit from the autonomy and pace of a freestanding/community ED, but with the resources of Saint Francis behind them.

About Saint Francis Glenpool - FSED
24/7 emergency care with emergency-trained providers, operating as a licensed outpatient department of Saint Francis Hospital South.
Acute Stroke Ready designation. Saint Francis Glenpool earned DNV Acute Stroke Ready certification, and Saint Francis describes it as the only certified acute stroke-ready ER in the area.
Full diagnostic capabilities, including CT, X-ray, ultrasound, vascular ultrasound, echocardiography and a full laboratory.
Real emergency acuity—not an urgent care environment. The ED receives approximately 50 ambulances per month, while about 95% of patients arrive as walk-ins. Physicians therefore see a combination of community emergency medicine and higher-acuity presentations.
Efficient higher-level transfers. Saint Francis describes direct admission processes for patients requiring transfer, rather than sending patients to another ED to begin the process again. In its example of STEMI care, the Glenpool team describes achieving approximately a 25-minute door-to-transfer time.
Backed by a very large health system. Saint Francis reports more than 3.18 million annual patient encounters, 1,000+ active medical staff, 100+ care delivery sites and 1,652 licensed beds statewide for FY2025. That makes Glenpool attractive as a smaller community practice environment without being clinically isolated from a major system.
Required Qualifications
Board Certified PA or NP with a minimum of 1 year of emergency medicine experience; post-graduation.
Active Oklahoma state license, DEA & BNDD, or ability to obtain
