Coverage:
BUMC runs 3-5 APP shifts each day (10 hour shifts)
- 7a-5p, 11a-9p, 5p-3a - Sat & Sun
- 7a-5p, 8a-6p, 3p-1a, 5p-3a - Mon-Fri
POD System (A-E)
- A - Trauma Pod
- B-E - General Medicine
MSE shifts Wed-Fri
11 physician shifts each day
EM residency program
- APP's will work with residents
Required Qualifications
2 Years EM experience post training, or an EM Fellowship
- NP's must be EM Fellowship trained
Active Texas License & DEA
Experience with procedures; central lines, paracentesis, lumbar punctures, etc
